No entendí nada.
Pero a pesar de ello, es mi saga favorita hasta el momento.

This was definitely not my favourite part of the series. I think the narrative went in too many directions and I couldn’t really care a lot for the characters or for the plot. I think part 4 would be, for me, a better ending for the series. And that had nothing to do with whether the ending was positive or not. It’s just that I think the story was much better and it seemed like a fitting end. Oh well…
I thought a funny bit was this thing about a newly discovered planet, nicknamed Rupert after some astronomer’s parrot, and how this newly discovered lump of rock that nobody had known about before should surely throw a few calculations out for the whole field of astrology. (p. 24 & 25)

Quote:
What about all those star charts and planetary motions and so? We all knew (apparently) what happened when Neptune was in Virgo, and so on, but what about when Rupert was rising? Wouldn’t the whole of astrology have to be rethought?

Probably the 2nd best of these because it's funnier than the others, but once Adams starts moving the plot the book grinds to a halt. It was clear he wanted to just end the series with what happens at the end. Poor Fenchurch, we hardly knew ye.

Honestly, I'm sure this ending pissed a lot of people off, but I liked that even if Douglas Adams had lived longer than he did, he would have had a very hard time making more Hitchhiker's Guide books after this without making it look like a massive ass-pull. Even though he had documented regrets on it, it just feels like unnecessary-sequel insurance, which is very important when you already have a five-part trilogy. The idea of probability as a dimension on its own that only seems completely random to humans is the best one he's had for me.
