This is Douglas Adam's final episode of the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, and it's as funny and clever as ever.
I especially enjoyed the discussion of the "Perfectly Normal Beasts" and sandwich making. It is so funny to me that the talents and technology related to sandwich making make Arthur Dent an important member of society.
Niet een heel bevredigend einde en bij vlagen is het verhaal wat wazig, zoals wel vaker. Ook zoals vaker, komt Adams daarna goed terug en is ook dit deel weer erg leuk om te lezen

The Hitchhikers Guide book 5 was another full win for me!
The introduction of parallel universes was a bit confusing but it was a very fun idea. How nice that seemingly everyone got lost for a while.
I am not the biggest fan of the "somehow Fenchurch disappeared" moment, but given that we only met here in the last book and I wasn't too attatched to her I am willing to let it slide. It was a plot tool and I am okay with that.
This book featured most of the band and while they spent most of their time apart from each other, I loved being back with each one of them. The Hitchhikers Guide series lives and dies with its strange characters. I truly had so much fun. What a great book and what a great series! I can see myself coming back to it for sure (I almost want to start over right away).

A good ending to the Hitchhiker's saga, though not as uproarious as the first three books.
I really enjoyed that part of the series. Nice to reconnect with beloved characters, fresh and in the spirit of the first book.
