An adult version of [b:The Phantom Tollbooth|378|The Phantom Tollbooth|Norton Juster|http://photo.goodreads.com/books/1320476717s/378.jpg|1782584], Adams' stories are ridiculous, lack sense, but still crack you up.

This one, last in the series didnt make up to the other books in the series. It is little scientific and less humor compared to the other books in the series.

I was honestly really enjoying this a lot but the Random came along and ruined it for me. She was such an insufferable character and made me want to consider skipping the chapters she was involved in. I thought the direction Arthur and Ford’s storylines went were a lot of fun played well into the overarching plot. The ending was a weirdly a little anticlimactic but also completely appropriate at the same time.

Might be my favorite book in the series!

still super weird but I liked them. I feel like the last two especially did a good job of wrapping things up and answering the unanswered questions. I read that a lot of fans and even the author were unhappy with the ending but I kinda liked it? I understand why people don't like it and I was shocked by it but it felt very full circle to me

The beginning was really, really slow (I'd say the whole first half). During the end it got better, but I had a difficult time at even finding out how things were related at the beginning. I've debated with myself to still give the book three stars, if only because as a part of a series it was sort of a must-read, but I simply couldn't bring myself to it. There were some nice passages but nothing as comical as in the first books. In many aspects it was only confusing and couldn't put more than a faint smile on my lips.
