Eeeee…such cuties. These two burgeoning bffs are pure and perfect.
I love the way their story twines together and the support and care they show for each other. Leo is a wonderful guy, who is shy and uncomfortable in the world, but thanks to a few close friends, especially Finn, he finds his place in the world and the confidence to own his little corner of it.
Finn is a warm guy who despite not knowing he has an interest in men is always open and accepting.
Sometimes all you need is a little dare to get over your nerves and try something new.
It’s a wonderfully written story, the time flew by with lots of smiles and heart flutters.

I was not so patiently waiting for this release because it has some of my absolute favorite tropes ans Becca is one of my favorite authors. I had such high hopes and it did not disappoint! Its now my favorite book of this series together with the prequel Collided.
Finn and Leo met playing their favorite online game. They clicked the minute they met. They started as online friends but when they realised, that they are at the same university, they met in person and quickly became best friends. Leo has social anxiety and Finn helped him by pushing him out of his comfort zone. He dared him to do little tasks to help him with his confidence.
Finn instinctively understood Leo, always making sure he was okay and supporting hin. Their friendship was incredibly beautiful. I really liked how they just didn't care how their friendship might look to others and kept cuddling and being tactile with each other. Finn and his family are exactly what Leo needed in his life. They basically adopted him and were so accepting und supportive to him.
The relationship developed smoothly and naturally and it was really funny when they finally decided to be boyfriends and tried to tell their friends and family and everyone was confused and unsurprised because they all thought they were together for months.
The friend group in this whole series is amazing and they also supported Leo and helped him to feel more comfortable with himself and included him in the friend group.
This book was just all around amazing and a must read, especially if you like the tropes online friends, "I dare you" and found family.

Holy heck this was so cute!! Leo and Finn are absolutely adorable and their love story is absolutely goals. Best friends to lovers to the max in this one. They met playing their favorite video game and somewhere along the way they fell in love. It all started with a dare and the rest was history. I related so much to Leo with his social anxiety and never really feeling attracted to anyone before he met Finn. Finn thought he was completely straight, but when he couldn't stop thinking about his best friend and how cute he was, well he had a lot to figure out in his head. These two are the sweetest cinnamon roll characters ever and I love them both so much. I loved getting to see my other favorite characters from the series like JJ and Nic. Absolutely wonderful story and I cant wait for the next one.
"Leo never failed to amaze me with how hard he tried. I wished he could see himself the way I saw him." - Finn
"I didn't want to be me. I couldn't be me." - Leo
I really love this book and the characters. It all started with a video game and a dare. Finn is so good in understanding how Leo's anxiety works. They just work together, they are each other's safe space. Leo really found a family in his friends and Finn his family. I also loved that they took their time exploring new things and feelings. The timing of this book was just perfection. This book felt realistic and I could definitely relate to Leo.
This book was written with a lot of care and I really appreciate that. Showing all kinds of feelings and having conversations about them. I think a lot of people can relate to Leo and it can help the reader understand more about themselves and others. I just love books with sweet characters and mental health topics so much!
This is the first book that I've read by Becca Steele and I'm definitely reading more. I received an ARC copy of this book. Thank you so much.

Tropes:

-dual POV
-found family
-queer awakening
-shy guy x popular guy
-soccer player x dancer
-opposites attract

This was one of the most genuine stories I have ever read. I love MM romance, opposites attract, friends to lovers, and queer awakening, so put them all in one book, and I am SOLD. This did not disappoint. I can’t wait to read more from this series. This book sold me on it. I loved all the side characters who make up the other books. More books for the TBR!
Finn and Leo are the cutest. Their relationship starts with them playing online together anonymously. The relationship progresses slowly and naturally. Eventually, they discover that they go to the same school. Once they meet Finn, the outgoing soccer player, he realizes that Leo needs someone to help him deal with his social anxiety. He starts daring him to branch out of his comfort zone.
Their friendship turns into them needing each other. Although it takes them a bit to realize that what they are feeling is more than friendship, they hardly experience any awkward feelings when they discover this fact.
If you are like me and you are in your MM romance era, I highly recommend checking this one out. It is available on KU.
Quotes:
“You know you’re my favourite person in the world, right?”
“Yeah. You’re mine, too. No one else even comes close.”
“Thank you.”
“For what?”
“For being you. For trusting me with the important things. For being so easy to fall in love with.”
“Thank you for making my life so much better.”

I literally finished half of the ARC in one sitting. This was a very emotional and headrecking book. Found family is one of the best trope when it comes to romance books and this was amazing. Leo and his problems were very similar to mine since i'm a shy person too but the way he tries his best to not burden others and how his character enhances it was mind blowing. Finn on the other hand, the way he kept telking Leo that he is npt a burden had me smiling. I loved how supportive and caring he is. I loved their chemistry, the way Finn took care of Leo had me smiling like crazy. Such a greenflag guy i swear, and the scene where Leo is physically and mentally hurt by everyone literally made me bawl. It was so heartbreaking, i wanted to slap the guy who did that to him.
Finn and Leo had my heart the whole time, i would 100% recommend this to all if you are interested in these tropes above...

Leo was such a sweetheart. I wanted to hug him so many times throughout the book with how he saw himself and how socially awkward he was.
Finn was absolutely amazing with the support he gave to Leo. He was there for him no questions asked, helped him build up his confidence while falling in love with him in the process.
These two were the sweetest but the most oblivious to how they were with each other. I mean everyone knew they were together before they did. The friend group and the support Leo had, was incredible.
I dare you... I dare you to read this book. This whole series honestly. Such a great series, sad there's only one more left .

I love a good nerd/jock trope and Becca Steele did not disappoint! Add in bi-awakening, found family, and first times and we get two of the most lovable people in Finn and Leo.
Finn is such a lighthearted person. His ability to just roll with things and still remain completely comfortable in his own skin is lovely to see. There is a kindness in him that never falters and this, coupled with his protectiveness of and loyalty to Leo, makes him one of my favorites.
While I really love Finn, it is Leo with whom I connected most. His struggle with social anxiety is so well written and something to which many people – myself included – can relate. What I love most about Leo, though, is the way in which he grows and finds comfort within himself as well as in the support system he has built around him.
There is so much depth to this book that I was honestly not expecting but am deeply happy to find within the story. It is definitely low angst but there is a lot of personal growth, with Leo especially, that makes it a really well-rounded and super fun read. I highly recommend this book!
