Twisted, turbulent, and volatile, Make You Beg is most definitely Shantel Tessier’s most original and most spellbinding story to date. I mean HOLY MOLY- what the what? I couldn’t put this down- like up all night, rapidly turning pages, desperately wanting more could not put it down. This tantalizing savage story won’t just consume you- it will ravage you, totally swallow you whole. So hang on tight!

There’s not much I say about this story or these characters without giving anything away. And, truly this is a story you want to go into knowing NOTHING-it makes for a deliciously dark and intense experience. We’re disoriented, captivated, riveted...and at times even frustrated, because you’re just so desperate to understand everything, for everyone and everything to be exposed, to break free of the cycle of confusion and questions. And, Shantel, oh Shantel is gonna make you wait, and she’s gonna make it messy, and rocky, and painful. But man is it addicting! All the twists, all the shocks, all the emotional wreckage. And, when all the pieces start to come together you realize just what a brilliant masterpiece MYB is- how cleverly Shantel has pieced this dynamic and sexy puzzle together. And that ending- oh man, worth every bump and bruise we get from the chaotic journey we’ve been on.

Shantel is the queen of dark and unconventional romantic story telling- and this one has just raised the bar yet again. My jaw may still be on the floor, but what a wildly titillating and entertaining ride. The Sharks better move over- I think I have a new Shantel addiction!

PS: This is dark- please read the blurb and trigger warnings well- this is definitely not kittens and rainbows.

I am NOT OK.

You ever start to read a genre and wonder WHAT could possibly be so appealing? Well let me tell you, Bully romance has it all, insanity, craziness and delicious dark moments. Go in with an open mind and a lot of time. I won't give details just because I love going in blind, but grab this book and get ready for a wild ride!

This is my first book from this author, I read the prologue of a new story this author published in the Hallowed Night anthology and am eagerly awaiting that book so I decided in the mean time I would check out another of her work.

I knew this was going to be a dark bully romance but for me it was lacking in the "romance" - I would say it was more a dark bully obsession. I was intrigued at the beginning, but then was hoping for more back story to understand the relationship between Henley, (Ryan) Scout, (Van) Rellik, (Dax) Monroe, and (Grayson) Law. Henley states that at one point they were the best of friends but I never really got that feeling just the overwhelming dislike/hate that they had for her after the events of "that night."

Story had a lot of twist and turns trying to solve the who done it and although I wanted to know the answers I really wasn't invested in any of the characters and was underwhelmed at the conclusion.

FIVE STARS is not enough for Make You Beg. I can't get over what a wild, twisted and dark ride this book is.

MYB is Shantel Tessier at her absolute best. Lord knows I love the GWS and everything else she writes, but MYB is on another level.

If you like dark and twisted, if you like your boundaries pushed, then MYB is for you.

"She may believe in God, but he cannot save her from this hell. Down here, we all worship without the need for redemption."

I won't say much more because if you dare to read MYB, you need to go in blind to get the full experience.

Read at your own risk.
