I forgot how much happened so close to the beginning of the series.
I really like this manga. The artwork is fantastic, and the tone is the perfect combination of funny and sad. The things that happen in the Fullmetal Alchemist universe are quite emotionally heavy (losing an arm and a leg to save your brother is pretty gruesome), but they have this cute slapstick humour and aww-worthy brotherly moments to prevent the books from being depressing.
Yay for not having 4 different individual stories! Haha!
I loved that it was just one story spread across the book. It made me feel more invested in both the characters and the overall story.

Yet another sensational volume, I really do love this series even when it breaks my heart,
I liked this volume way more than the first. Think I just had to get used to the formatting (reading right to left, back to front) and the mythology of it all.
