A great summer domestic thriller about an ex-addict who finds her way trying to figure out the meaning of mysterious and disturbing drawings from the kid she nannies. A great read with some twists and turns!
Boring, lame, bizarre plot twist. That’s about it.
The story was good.
main character is a recovering addict who gets a job being a nanny. teddy draws Anya the scary imaginary friend. main character is trying to figure out why.
its a good story. it was creepy with all the drawings to be honest.

This book was thrilling and very unique! I loved the idea of a child drawing pictures that get progressively creepy and more detailed. Horror stories that have children in them always give me some goosebumps.
I didn't see the twists coming at all, which I really enjoyed. I found myself pausing between certain pages because I was nervous about what I was going to read next. I also loved the pictures scattered throughout the story. They were super clever and added a lot of detail.
Even though this book was thick, I flew through it in a couple of days. It was fast-paced and kept you wanting to know what was going to happen.
If you like creepy children, paranormal entities, and unique ways to tell stories, this is the book for you.
