Fun read. authors weird politics and religious influence come through at unexpected times, but it's nice to delve into Bean's way of seeing the world.

I really liked this book, though perhaps not as much as Ender's Game, though to be honest, I read Ender's Game quite a long time ago.

i’ve read this book many times over many years but oh my god. i have never sobbed over the ending this hard before. i’m remembering now why i’ve always been so attached to bean.
this is truly the best book in the ender series. beans character development is so sweet. he’s the sweetest little boy :(
genuinely amazing sci-fi. not overfilled with jargon so you spend every few pages struggling to understand wtf is going on. simple yet colorful prose. very witty and funny. EXTREMELY FUN!!!!
one day i will adapt you into a beautiful movie. this is my dune.

I was a little wary at first but definitely intrigued about this new perspective of what I was hoping wasn't just a retelling of what I already knew. Once the book really got going it was awesome to take part in this whole new journey and I loved Bean's character just as much as Ender but happily in a totally different way. I loved it!

I read Ender's Game almost exactly 5 years ago and absolutely loved it. I wasn't sure how I'd feel about a parallel book but I'm so glad I gave this a chance - it was such a great read, pulling me back into that universe while introducing so much more.

I cannot speak high enough praise about this book. If you have read Ender’s Game please read this book. It adds and develops the world, characters, and philosophies to a level that cannot be understood by simply reading one.

In terms of characters, this book is incredibly consistent with Ender’s Game while continuing to define and develop them through another perspective.

Orson Scott Card is a master of Science Fiction, character development, and storytelling.
