Aw man! Leave Nightwing alone! That is unforgivable.
I'm also unclear as to why they unmasked only Nightwing.

Mostly, this was an entertaining read, but there was too much crossing over and I'm not invested enough to go find all the issues to answer the questions. Like what happened to the Teen Titans after they were zapped to the future? Where are Pandora and the Question? They were in Kandaq when the Crime Syndicate appeared and then disappeared. I just want everything I'm supposed to read in one giant volume in the correct reading order.

So are we saying that even the vilest creatures are capable of bringing something good even in their vile ways?

As it appears.

I had the usual amount of scepticism when approaching Forever Evil. By all rights it should be a mess - an outright attempt from DC to grab as much money as possible by spreading 'universe-changing' drama across all its titles. This collection, however, of the main plot line spine of the event, is fantastic. This is one of Johns best works, and the end results bring up some ACTUAL 'universe-changing' dilemmas for the Justice League. Loved it.

The only problem being a few unexplained points at the end.

One of the best displays of Lex Luthor's many dimensions. Black Adam, Sinestro, Cold and Black Manta also come to the forefront as characters as interesting as their heroic counterparts.

I think because I went into this with such low expectations, I ended up pleasantly surprised. I went into this just for Nightwing, since this is crucial for his story-line. Also my DC knowledge is mostly Batfamily-centric and the rest of the universe I just barely keep up with.

Despite all of that, this was still fairly enjoyable. It would probably be difficult if you knew absolutely nothing about the Syndicate and the multiverse, but my bare minimum of knowledge got me through it okay.

Most of the Sydnicate I found to be somewhat boring, except for Owlman and Superwoman. I already liked Owlman before, but this was really the first time for me encountering Superwoman. What a manipulative genius. That's all I'm going to say.

Having this story from Lex's perspective was really interesting. He ended up being a very endearing character. His relationship with Bizzaro was fantastic.

And of course, Bruce and Dick's reunion was very, very well done. That made the entire story for me.

However, after reading Nightwing, I think I needed more about Dick's "death", because both these stories just sort of acknowledged that they had told everyone that Dick was dead, but didn't actually show that decision being made or really the ramifications of his identity being revealed.

Also, are the Teen Titans okay? They were sucked up in an early issue and then we never saw them again.

It's not the best event DC has had, but it was a fun one. (What can I say? I like villains.)

Pleasantly surprised by this. I read the companion books and was pretty lost, but this was a great cohesive volume that explored characters in a new way. Fun stuff.

I love this event. There is so much fun with major DC villains teaming up to stop an evil Justice League!

Enjoyed the villain's point of view for this story. The art work was beautiful and full of twists. I only started reading DC comics with the new 52 so story line was new to me have heard from others this is not a completely new story so fans of DC comics may not enjoy the twists as much as I did.

Well, this was better than [b:Justice League: Trinity War|18248520|Justice League Trinity War|Geoff Johns|https://d.gr-assets.com/books/1391572228s/18248520.jpg|25701336], which isn't really saying much, and reminded me ever so slightly of [b:Villains by Necessity|401454|Villains by Necessity|Eve Forward|https://d.gr-assets.com/books/1335913626s/401454.jpg|390862] where it's up to the bad guys to save the day - but for differing reasons.

The highlight of this was probably the depth it added to Lex Luthor's character, and it was interesting to see the Rogues working together. I got the impression there are a lot of tie-in stories because we got introduced to a bunch of people who never get used in this main arc, and I'm probably not going to be bothered to follow those various tie-ins.

The biggest gripe about it is that it's yet another set-up for the next Big Event - Darkseid. I guess that's the problem with serials, though I have read other serials which did have some freaking conclusions to arcs instead of just a constant lead-in to the next. Meh.
