This was a pretty sweet romance with lots of topics like anxiety, alcoholism, and Pershing new life dreams to add depth to the characters. I enjoyed the element of secrecy that all of the characters added to the book, as well as the concept of a “deal” to help each other leading to a romance. I would recommend it to romance lovers!

Thank you NetGalley and Harper Collin’s Christian Publishing for the ARC of this audiobook for my honest review
This will be a favorite romance 100%, I loved it. For one I understand the anxiety from the fmc, so it felt relatable. The mmc was definitely a well created choice for the fmc and wasn’t unrealistic but was definitely perfect for her. And the third act was so interesting. The not communicating/listening did make a little play which I usually hate buttt one of the other characters fixed that up by pointing out that maybe she should listen to what he has to say. I just really enjoyed both the romances , and i recommend !

Thank you Netgalley for an early audiobook copy of this book.
I really enjoyed this book it was cute and sweet.
This book had two story lines going on at the same time and that was a bit confusing. It would switch randomly between Britt and her mom and it would take me a bit to figure out who’s point of view we were in. Alsooooooo and I hated this the book take place in the Dallas Texas area…….. for someone that lives and knows this area well I did not enjoy that it was set in my area. If it had been set elsewhere I would have been okay. It was to close to home!!! lol
I would definitely recommend the book, loved the narrator would listen to other books she narrates.

Had to DNF this one at 43% unfortunately. I couldn't connect with either protagonist, and a full half of the book was devoted to Britt's parent's story that's happening at the same time as the main romance, which was not mentioned anywhere in the description and just isn't what I signed up for. The anxiety rep, which is the main reason I requested the book, was all over the place, and Britt honestly just did not read as somebody in her late 20s—I'm a full six years younger than her, and she honestly read younger than me. I really tried to muscle through, but ultimately just could not bring myself to finish this book.
