Still regretting not starting this series sooner. I am so invested in not just Adara and Evren, but more so in Jorah, Sorin and Thalia. This is like a pure series addiction here.
I couldn’t get passed how little of the writing is focused on the plot. The character is no longer lovable and I found myself skipping thru the steamy scenes just to find out more about their world and what was happening.

I loved this one!! Everen and Adara's story just keeps getting better and I cannot wait to read the 3rd book later this month. I like how this book jumped straight into the action and where the last book left off! SO GOOD, highly recommend!

2.5 stars rounded up to 3. Still major JLA Blood and Ash vibes which I loved but also feel this is becoming a bit to plagiarized. The whole mate thing was a bit exhausting. The side characters were interesting but lacked depth BUT was really happy to see them form a relationship with Adara. I do wish there had been more plot progression. Nothing really happened until the final chapters. The ending was the only saving grace…I’m very intrigued by how Evren’s brother (Prince) will react to Adara not having her star blessed power he so desperately seems to own.

I could have fought Adara for her attitude in the first half of the book. The cliffhanger in the 1st book got me to read this book. The cliffhanger at the end of this book had me reading the third book immediately! Love the magical system and I love the vampire community. Fun read!
