Pleasantly surprised by Callie’s redemption.
Got the unexpected sweetness from Zeus. Nice wrap up of the Mike Bravo guys which I’m sure we will see again in future books connected to this universe.

My favorite of the series! Little bit of angst, lot of sweetness. And I love a reformed f-boy.

I was really looking forward to this book, as I enjoyed the other books from the series. I was a bit disappointed by this one, there was too much "internal rambling" from both characters, the action parts had too many loopholes, and the end seemed sloppy. I did not connect with neither of the MC. I loved to "see" guys from previous books.

4 stars
Callie's arc redemption was really good! In Atlas, we saw him broken, he had just betrayed his dearest friend and left him in a death trap set up by his abusive and controlling man. Lemon, being the amazing man he is, is worried about him, so Atlas sends Zeus to find out if Callie is alive and how he's doing.
Callie is dealing with the aftermath of what happened at the club by blaming himself completely, he feels guilty, scared, he lost every ounce of self respect, he firmly believes is not worthy to be saved nor loved, he's spiralling and he keeps making bad choices.
I like how Zeus was able to read his emotions, to understand what he was going through, I really liked how he tried to make him believe he was worthy of Lemon's forgiveness.

The sex scenes are steamy but also very emotional, I loved how attentive Zeus was.

What prevented me from giving a higher rate:
First, I'm a little disappointed that Callie didn't go to see a therapist because his scars run very deeply and he needed to want to save himself instead of relying completely into others. He suffered a lot and towards the end of the book he still thinks he's not worthy of love.

Second, I didn't totally get why Zeus and Callie fell in love.
Callie was attracted to Zeus at first sight in the previous book, his attraction grows because of hero complex; Zeus saves Callie because he really gets why he acted like that and because of his sister (he repeatedly said that). But beyond those feelings I didn't really understand if there was more. Especially because they got together too close to the end of the story and we didn't get to see how they were navigating their relationship, except for a little bit in the epilogue.

The banter between the other members of Bravo team is always amazing.
I hope next book will be about Decaf: his past still hurts and he needs to find his own happiness soon, hopefully with a "resentful" young man.

I received an Arc of this book from ForewordPR and this is my honest review

This was not for me. I loved book 1 of this series. 2 and 3 were okay. This book, I skipped about 10 chapters in the middle because I was so bored. I finished the last few chapters and felt like I missed very little. Both characters seemed to not know what their personalities were, and they felt forced together as a pairing. I didn't feel any charisma between the two. The epilogue was irrelevant and did not add to the story at all.

"Every life has purpose, and I want to find mine."

Ugh this was sooo good!
I didn't want to finish it, I wanna go back!
I absolutely love this series and like everyone else who has read this series, we all have a favorite couple. Mine has changed.
Zeus & Callie are everything together.

I know there are some who really didn't like Callie going into this book but what he was involved in, I couldn't hold it against him honestly. That's a tough place to be when all you want is to feel wanted.. loved.
I loved every minute I got to spend back in this world with all these characters.
The banter, the relationships, it brought it all back.
Finally getting into who Zeus is is what I love most about this book, yes he is the fuckboy of the group (sorry Iris ;) ) but there is always that extra layer that no one sees, Callie does.

When I tell you there is one scene that I giggled like a school girl on because I knew it was going to happen, I smiled so hard after because that pushed Zeus to the top for me. Being blindsided by feelings or even those feelings is what makes Zeus my new favorite even if I wanted to nut punch him not long after.
There was also the little scene where I threw my kindle because I was so upset and didn't want to look at it for a bit. Tears leaked but after a deep breath, a snack and a drink I went back and got angry again until realizing it is what needed to happen.

Is there spice... oh is there ;) It would not be Mike Bravo is there wasn't!
The main point of this story isn't actually spice though, it's the redemption for me. For Callie & for Zeus. Both need it in their own ways and they way that it unfolds couldn't have been better.
I cannot wait for more from this series and to see all of these characters again.

I've always liked Eden's stories. I've read a good majority of the solo work, but not all of the ones with Saxon James. But anyway, this story was another good one. I really liked how at the end, they both sort of went and healed away from each other and then got back together. While I know all of the other characters thought it was stupid, I thought it was definitely the push Callie needed to find himself and learn how to live without relying completely on other people. I always know that these stories are going to end in a HEA, but it's always such a time getting there.
