This one was a lot of fun!! I loved our two protagonists, and adored their love interests too!! This book also had a great supporting cast of characters, and there were so many plot twists! Looking forward to book 2 in May❤️

i am soooooooo disappointed because I felt like I could love this so much. it was fun, entertaining, and occasionally pretty funny. but the biggest downfalls were the characters... they were boring

starting with the romantic interests,,,,, BORING. wren's man had little to no personality, and both of their relationships were kind of insta-lovey imo. There wasn't enough build up, and I didn't believe that they really cared for each other beyond physical attraction. When Shen said that his feelings for Wren were entirely different than his feelings for Rose, I was like.. WHY?? You barely know her! And then Tor and Wren basically had no relationship other than furtive glances and the occasional reckless kiss.

now for the MCs.... truly annoying. every time the POV shifted to Rose, I wanted to skip the chapter to get back to Wren who was unfortunately not much better. Rose was just kind of insufferable and i didn't rly care what happened to her. but wren started to annoy me more and more as the story progressed. you're telling me she has trained all her life for this, and the fate of all the witches depends on her, but she continuously messes up and gets distracted bc of the hot security guard? GET A GRIP.

this book upset me bc it had so much potential. it didn't necessarily have an amazing plot or anything, but i am easily entertained so this probs could have been a rly fun read for me if only the characters weren't so annoying.

Twin princesses are separated at birth, Rose is raised as a princess, and Wren was raised to kidnap Rose and claim her crown as her own to avenger her parents. Both raised in different worlds begin to learn about each other and what it will take to save their kingdom.

This was really fun and exciting young adult romance fantasy. Despite the story being predictable, I loved the characters, magic, world, and tropes used. This can totally be made into a Disney film, it's just very well written and entertaining. I was invested in the story and didn't want it to end.

I enjoyed both sisters and looked forward to hearing their POV. The romances they have are great even though I wasn't as obsessed as I wanted to be. So many great topes used in this which was so enjoyable, you can't go wrong with close proximity. This was a funny read and I liked the banter and romantic tensions.

The plot pretty simplistic which makes it easy to follow, but sadly that does mean the Antagonist is not very complex. I enjoyed this and totally recommend this if you enjoy young adult romance fantasy. It's classic, vivid easy to read book with great characters, adventure, witches, romance and sisterhood.
