I enjoyed this book :) it felt like some big things were missing but overall the concept was a lot of fun. The beginning pacing was Not Good: we are dumped right into the action without getting to know the characters at all (but the prologue was delightful). Things picked up, and the ending was quite interesting. It took me a bit to get through, but it was worth a read, and I think after a while I’ll take a look at the sequel.

This was a very character driven book. The mystery, spying, and overall tension was a roller coaster ride. Intriguing characters that were well fleshed out. A male lead who isn’t afraid to acknowledge his feelings and fears. A female lead who is scared but still finds the strength to stand up for what is right and an ending that leave you wanting more.
