Loved this book. An incredibly helpful place to start. I'd also recommend pairing this with the Maximalized Minimalist Podcast...it's helped me clear a ton of clutter out of my home.

I won't be following all the advice in this book (e.g. folding knickers) but I liked the writing style and her thoughts on our belongings gave me a positive hopeful feeling.

I’m not a disciple. I liked her first book, and I like the idea of decluttering. This was a bit more how too in places, and a bit too dreamy in others. I did skip over bra and make-up storage, but the reason I did not really like this was that she seemed to tie tidying to closely with living a good and complete life. I do think I will be happier when I am tidier, but I do not think that tidying alone will lead to deep revelations about myself and my happiness.

I would really like to meet Marie Kondo.

Meh. I'm pretty tidy already but I got this book free with a monthly subscription box so I gave it a shot. Unnecessary. Maybe the book that this is a companion to is more engaging.

4.6/5 A short read that has both an incredible philosophy and actionable steps for tidying up and improving your life. The first half of the book details methods that have been refined through trial and error, with accompanying non-judgmental philosophy which I did not expect. The second half is akin to an encyclopedia with references to any specific questions you have with implementation. It's well written and if you need a book on organization, cleaning, and even a little less stress, I would recommend this quick book.
