A brilliant debut novel with lots of twists and short chapters that keep you reading until way after your bedtime. This is the quickest I've finished a book in a long time. Poe is a great character, but Tilly is the star of the show! And the build up of their friendship through this book was one of my favourite parts. The setting was really good too. The way the parts of the story all slotted together was brilliant and some of the crime solving was really clever. I will most definitely be reading the next installment.

What a read! I enjoyed this book so much! The twists, the turns & The 2nd half did not let up. A beautifully crafted thriller with real life horror & justice most of us seek but will never get.
