Survival

The essence of the human spirit is felt throughout this novel. All is fair in love and war, and yet history judges what should be fair for the sake of survival and vengeance. Despite the central theme of war, hate and imposters, Lisa Barr beautifully captures the beauty that drives us to strive for a tomorrow.

I had trouble sleeping after I read this. The dark side of humanity. Well written. Good characters.
adventurous informative medium-paced

I understand this book is based on a lot of true events, but the way it was all put together, it just came off too ridiculous, too soapy.

A strong story of resistance and revenge on Nazi atrocities by the female protagonist who often appears larger than life. A good read, somewhere between a 3-4. I’ll round up
