I absolutely loved this new series so much so that I couldn't put it down! Jasinda is such an amazing writer that she gets me so intrigued with the story I just want to finish and find out what happens to the characters! So excited for the next book...can't wait for the next Badd brother!

There are a lot of lovely moments in this story. And, knowing it’s the first in a series about 8 brothers, I expected a lot of “introducing”. There was a lot going on, although it was well contained to one basic area. For the most part, I’d say I liked this book. But there were a few timeline issues when it came to the main characters remembering the past, and you know I’m a stickler for those inane details.
Both Sebastian and Dru are wonderful characters and their chemistry is there for sure. I couldn’t help but be tickled by Sebastian’s brothers becoming protective of Dru so readily. Especially once they could see how she brought out something different in their brother. Yet Dru doesn’t need their protection in the physical sense. She’s definitely someone who can take care of herself.
Yes, this story is an insta-love type of story. Yes, there are a lot of things that make you go hmmmm. But it’s all in fun and those pesky details don’t really matter in the grand scheme of things. I enjoyed the read and the dynamics of all of the characters so I will read the next in the series to see how things go.
This book was free so why not read it? It's bad really badd (see what i did there:) ) Please don't waste your time just don't read it

This was enjoyable read and I'll be reading the next in this series. There was one burning question I had that wasn't answered, did she get her money back?
11/19/18 I listened to the audiobook and the narrators did a good job.

Jasinda, Jasinda just wow. I found this book in an anthology and I was completely taken back on it. I absolutely loved this introduction into the Badd Brothers series. Love the two main characters Bast and Dru (by the way Dru to me is a badass name and I mean that in the best way possible). While at first I thought this was going to be a the same old same old story of a woman being rescued by a man. It is not that at all, it felt more like two kindred sex starved souls finally meeting and being perfect together. While I still consider this a romance story it had a lot of cursing, fighting, misunderstandings and more. I was here for it all and can't wait to get into Book 2, Zane's story.
