Absolutely not. Maybe I just don’t like when the female character is at fault and is so obtuse and reckless, and the MMC refuses to understand her perspective. Waste of my time.

The "past" was so cute. Didn't really like the misunderstanding part that took them 5 years to reconcile.

You guys I nearly lost my mind with the angst in this book.
I cried, laughed, and god knows I love Zane and Celeste. I think their story was so good because of the mistakes they both made, it just made all of it so much realistic.

SPOILER ⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️

Let me shut the f up about lily. I know she was sick and all that, but damn she’s the reason they’re relationship turned out like that.

This book is darker than the usual CM novels.

I was so disappointed, I was so looking forward to meeting Zane, because of the easter eggs we had seen before, he is an incredible character... but this book GOD!!!! My problem with this book is that love is not enough to sustain a relationship.
The book felt weird, like each chapter was a scene created by different people and then they came together to create the book. The time jump without explaining anything that happened did not let us feel the supposed "despair" that Celeste felt and therefore did not allow us to empathize with her and her situation. The same for Zane, we could only see that he felt hurt and since we only saw how well he treated her, we will always take his side. The time skip was executed very poorly.
Celeste said that she couldn't live without Zane and that he was the love of her life... girl please! you don't trust him, you don't communicate openly with him... clearly that's not it baby! Zane, no one can ever make me hate you… but this book didn't do you justice in the slightest. It was funny to see the grovel's version from the FMC's pov. Personally, I didn't feel any empathy for Celeste... you owed Zane more! You didn't suffer enough to get his love back.
It's a shame, I love you Zane, but this book... my least favorite Windsor.

EPIC.

I absolutely love this book. So many twists and turns and I love how they were transparent about making a relationship work in the end of the book. Celeste and Zane are my favorite Windsor couple now!
