A little loose on the Hades and Persephone retelling but with business tycoons and no gods. I love Paige! She deserved so much better than the hand she was dealt with. Her mother is horrible!! Can't believe the arrangement she tried to put Paige in. Hayes is a much better option for her, but I could kill him for not telling her the truth. I'm not the biggest fan of their story going to another book, but I'm going to read it anyway.
I love reading books about duets, as soon as I read the introduction, the blurb I absolutely had to read this book...I was totally fascinated and I had to make Hayes' story with Paige my own. How not to lose your head when the two protagonists despite Everything and everyone they feel an immediate attraction to each other...and I usually prefer the slow burn but the two of them still think about it...The The plot won me over from the first page and the attraction of the story never let me go, in fact I always wanted more...But let's talk about the spicy...hot...very hot...very very hot...very smut...just the way I like it. Oops....I hope to read more by this writer because I love her. Rating 4.5 ⭐

Ok excuse me Ms Adrian.. how dare you take over my day like this?!?! you say billionaire romance and I’m usually locked in… but this book.. omg I devoured it, I literally could not stop reading it.
I love every page of this book, it was so good I didn’t even get mad that it was an HEA and y’all know I love a good HEA lol.
Paige and Haynes had me hooked from their very first interaction, the way he was so patient with her and allowed her to set the pace for the relationship was perfection. I also loved how confident Paige became and that she stopped making herself small.. and do I even need to mention her relationship with Cerb?!..
This was perfect and I was elated to discover that The Bargain Bride was already available, I’ve never download a book faster.

Wow! I don't typically like Billionaire Romances, but this book changed that for me! It was believable (even though it was a whirlwind romance). It was heartfelt. It was smutty.
I loved these two and I'm highly invested in their story! I will immediately be diving into book 2! If you love Billionaire Romance or just getting into it, I suggest you pick up this book!
