A page turner with many twists and turns. Classic Baldacci.
This is not my usual fare at all, but my dad recommended it and occasionally I feel the need to honor one of his recommendations. This was better than I anticipated. The mystery kept me guessing and I enjoyed the characters. Can't really ask for much more than that.
So many of David Baldacci’s other books are better. Since this is a series I am thinking I will try the second book but if you want an engrossing book try his Attlee Pine or John Puhler series instead.

The number of times the main characters cheated death was thoroughly unbelievable but made for a rather enjoyable book.
I did not enjoy the story. Why do his female characters have to be Jack Reacher-ish. Olympic athletes, weight lifters etc.
