I would have eaten this up in middle school. The concept is there, but the writing has some weak spots. It’s like a b-list version of the summer I turned pretty.

Well written, great characters. the romance with Alex came out of nowhere which was weird but you can understand it for their character development when they break up. Cole is very well written. Positively surprised by the book, better than the series in plausibility although both are very wattpady.
