This book was mid. Jackie was Lk annoying the whole time and her problem wasn’t finding romance so soon after her family death it was deciding to date on of the boys while crushing on other people. Figure that out first girl. Also it’s a crime to make this only one book with how it ended.
Overall, this book was simply okay. Not great, not horrible, but okay.
It is blatantly obvious that the book was started when she was young and that even though she wrote it well, there were parts where I just wanted to shake my head.
But overall it was a good start for a debut novel. I hope the author can continue to enhance her skills at writing for her future books.

One of the worst books I have ever read. Doesn't really deserve 1 star. Half a star, maybe.
lets just say that this was an actual line in the book “oh my cupcakes” …… I’ll still be watching that Netflix series though
Book was cute but pretty vanilla. The show is much more nuanced, a rare adaption improving on the source!
I think these kinds of books are like my guilty pleasure. they’re not that good in reality but I’m obsessed with the high school love and drama and underdeveloped plot lines lol. I feel like the author also write this book with plans of writing more and only wrote one and it’s going to drive me crazy. at least I can watch the show now
Read this at 11 pm and stayed up til 3 reading this, then woke up at 10 to read this and just finished this at noon. I did not want to go to sleep but I was so tired!
First, the cover... I pictured the guys, not wearing the clothes they had in the cover.. these guys are suppose to be so hot so I would assume their clothes would be better/they were popular also so I'd assume their outfits would be preppy too. And her outfit in the cover too..just didn't go with the book. Just my opinion.
This was a good book but I was kind of disappointed that she dated Alex but liked Cole too.. so cliche.
I'm hoping the sequel will come out before 2016..that's 2 years from now! But I will be going to read the wattpad version!

Hey I am (extremely) late to this hype, never read it on wattpad ( I was reading Harry Potter fan fictions at that time sorry !) but I watched the series on Netflix and needed more Alex Walter.
Yes, I am team Alex, he is the sweetest, most adorable, kind kid. Yes ! boys that read book are sexy.
Cole brought red flag to another level, he is just an asshole that’s it. I know she will probably choice Cole in the end and I am ready to suffer, I just want to read bit more about Alex.
=> And yes I know that the scene in the field with the music “Constellation” is actually a Cole scene in the book and not an Alex one like in the series.. but hey as I said, I am ready to suffer.
Still hoping that maybe Cole is actually better in the book or I get to see more of Alex ??
