Hey I am (extremely) late to this hype, never read it on wattpad ( I was reading Harry Potter fan fictions at that time sorry !) but I watched the series on Netflix and needed more Alex Walter.
Yes, I am team Alex, he is the sweetest, most adorable, kind kid. Yes ! boys that read book are sexy.
Cole brought red flag to another level, he is just an asshole that’s it. I know she will probably choice Cole in the end and I am ready to suffer, I just want to read bit more about Alex.

=> And yes I know that the scene in the field with the music “Constellation” is actually a Cole scene in the book and not an Alex one like in the series.. but hey as I said, I am ready to suffer.

Still hoping that maybe Cole is actually better in the book or I get to see more of Alex ??

FIRST OF ALL THEY ARE TWELVE KIDS ?

Watched the entire show and loved it so much so I couldn’t wait for the book! But honestly this book is a huge let down compared to the show. I need more Cole!!!!

This was the first story I ever read on Wattpad and I fell in love with Jackie and the Walter boys

I was so addicted to this book I could hardly put it down. I have so much homework to catch up on but it was worth it.

Okay... where do i begin? I decided to read this book because I binged the series on Netflix and quickly became OBSESSED! After binging the show, I felt like I wanted more still so I quickly got my hands on the book...and...well...I was very displeased.

Unlike the show, the book lacked emotion, build up, and general story building! The show was great as it had multiple different perspectives going on from the different family members. The book was all from Jackie's perspective and so much of it was unbelievable and not exciting. Even the build up to romance was boooring. Now this is a story with sibling rivalry over a girl, it could be made really good (like the show), but the book just felt choppy and unfinished. I really wanted to like the book, but (this is the first time I will ever say it) the show was way better and added so much more room for character growth and tension! So much more was added to the show that it was nearly a different story all together! Way more drama! The show had me emotionally connected, whereas the book felt like so much was missing.

Wow, don’t usually say this but the show is 100% better than the book. Poor writing, uninspiring dialogue and a crappy ending.

Don’t waste your time with the book. Watch the far superior show.
