I read this as a child and just reread it with my daughters. It's still fantastic all these years later.
Read in the Summer moving from Michigan to Florida. Charlotte is queen <3
If this book doesn't make you cry, you have no heart.
I read this for the first time at the ripe old age of *insert number* and went in knowing nothing. I know, I know, “how do you NOT know Charlotte’s Web?!”, cos I don’t okay!
Anyway, as a vegan, as a cat-mom and as a human I couldn’t not feel sad for Wilbur. My heart broke when his broke, alone in his pen and missing his friend. I deducted a star because it made me cry and I didn’t like the little girl.
How is this book aimed at children?! It’s traumatising!
