Tohle byl můj první "Sparks". A musím říct "páni". ;-)

It started slow, but then near the end I felt like everything was just happening all at once. Very intense book that always kept me alert! It was a beautiful love story though. Dawson's everlasting love for Amanda was admirable. Fabulous :)
Extremely predictable plot. Oh he died? And you got a miraculous heart donor?????

This is the first novel I read for Nicholas sparks, and I loved it.
I liked the characters and I liked the ending, it was not what I was expecting to be honest , I thought Amanda was going to leave her family and be with the one she loves, but she didn't, and that made the novel more realistic, no one leaves their spouse, even for the love of their life.
but at least she was lucky to find true love and live the excitement with him even if it didn't last for ever.

I read this book for a book club that I'm in. Nicholas Sparks is okay, but not my general preferred reading material. This story was cute, and enjoyable. I think my biggest problems were 2 things. The first 75 or so pages just felt like a huge info dump of the two protagonists' pasts and all that, which was very slow to read. The second problem was about 90 pages in suddenly there would be chunks of story that jumped from POV to POV and then it'd go back to a huge chunk of just the two leads. It was annoying because it felt like the story was all over the place, and it broke the story up in weird ways. Overall, I think people who enjoy Nicholas Sparks will enjoy the book.
