i came to this book looking for comfort and that's what i got
i don't know if it's actually that good (probably not?) and i wasn't sure that i'd like it whitin the first few pages, but it's funny and relatable and catastrophic and beautiful
i love the women in my life, i love finding love in the things i'm surrounded by, i love the way she talks about her girl friends, i love that the final "advices" where cringy and cliché and that i learnt nothing big but it gave me a sense of understanding and hope i needed

Every morning I wake up thanking God She didn't let me be a teenager in Britain.

(This was.... just barely okay. It had some beautiful passages on the importance of friendships, and how your greatest love stories can be with the perfect women you call friends and accompany you through the heartbreaks and the life confusion of your teens and twenties - but anything else has been just barely okay).

A quick, endearing read; not as life-changing as advertised but still funny
