My favorite book from Rawnie so far! Characters are great and the evolution of Vex and Angela is entrancing.

Holy. F-ing. Sh!t…..Wow! 🫠 I need a second…

That. Was amazing. Rawnie, you’re amazing!! I received this an ARC, which I’m so grateful, and this is my own honest review.
This book left me absolutely speechless at some parts. And I feel sad that it ended! I just wanted more 😂

Honestly, if you’ve ever been on the fence about reading Rawnie’s books, just do it. I promise you won’t be disappointed. There are MF book in the Court of Chains world but if that isn’t your thing, no problem, you can totally read all the sapphic books and not lose any of the story!

This book had everything! Enemies to Lovers, a demon you wanted to hate and a witch you can’t get enough of! We have Dom/Sub dynamics, some of the most amazing spice ever! Truly, chefs kiss! So much plot!! And loveable side characters and edge of your seat conflict! Touch her and 💀 vibes, healing from trauma and a demon who wants to make all her darkest desires come true 😈

Okay, I’ll shut up now. Just read it! - Available from the 17th June 2025

I loved this book. The characters are amazing and the main couple are so compelling, both together and individually. Love Rawnie's writing! Can't wait for the next in the series!

Holy, shit. Where do I start? This book was incredible. Vex and Angela are gripping, frustrating (in all the very best ways), and the story was incredible.

Honestly, getting to go back to Chicago and to the Court felt like getting to come home after a long vacation. I love the Court of Chains so fucking much. It's definitely top three for my favorite series of all time.

Vex has been interesting to me since we met her way back in Kiss of Seduction, even if that was a pretty brief encounter. And then, seeing her in Wrath and Patience was pretty great, because she got a little bit more page time, and I started to like her cocky, hardass attitude. Now, her getting a whole book? Heaven. 💚

Meeting Angela in Gifts of Gold, and seeing more of her, again, in Wrath and Patience was a pretty decent glimpse into the intensity that she carries. But, she knows what she wants and can usually figure out how to get it.

The relationship between Vex and Angela was interesting. Having them go from mutual hate to disdain to confusion was a really good way to build their foundation. And the Christmas cookie bit? Magical. 💚

As always, Rawnie had me absolutely hooked from the first chapter. I hated having to put it down after I read the first half, but finishing it was a fucking pleasure. The tension, the yearning, and Vex unwittingly doing what she did? Ugh, perfection! 💚

This is definitely my number 2 favorite Chains book. I'd do anything for Vex.

If you love enemies to lovers with complicated twists and turns, definitely check this book out! Even if you don't, still, check this book out! You won't regret it.

Another great addition to Sabor's Court of Chains series. Whether you're familiar or not, this sapphic story about trust and acceptance between a fiend and a witch is a great tale.

The book takes its time getting its footings with plot and world building, but once its solidified the Enemies-to-Lovers angle and the two MCs are together things really ignite. Sabor's strength shines with her snappy dialog, be it playful banter or dirty talk during the spice and its on full display here.

And what spice it is! Decadent and mind-breaking, this duo explores degradation kinks in a consensual and tantalizing way that left me fanning myself repeatedly.

While not without its flaws, the story also does a great job with making the supporting cast well-rounded, both allies and enemies (and I love seeing some of the returning faces from the series). She also accurately describes and highlights mental health struggles (in this book, panic attacks) without sensationalizing it.

While I can't say it's perfect (it never left me bawling or, dare I say, Envious like Kiss of Seduction did), I can say it's still an excellent read and strongly recommend this paranormal romance to anyone.

I was incredibly fortunate to receive an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review and let me tell you it does not disappoint.

If you’ve previously enjoyed the chains series then you are guaranteed to love this one. It’s just as dark and even more kinky (somehow that’s possible).

Vex and Angela are such endearing characters and they really shine in this book. I loved Vex from first meeting her in Kiss of Seduction so to be able to spend a whole book with her and her thoughts was fantastic.

There are also some fantastic side characters to fall in love with in this book too and I am hoping they will re-appear again and get their own book(s) soon.

I’m trying to keep this as spoiler-free as possible, so all I will say is read it. Read all three. Then in a few months come back and read them all again because they will hit exactly the same. They’re just that good.

Thank you so much for the ARC and the opportunity to read this in advance. It has made an excellent start to my pride month! (although now I feel like it should be Envy month).

Once again, it’s another masterpiece I’ve had the privilege to read.

I loved this book for so many reasons, and I can’t wait to share my full thoughts on why it was amazing at its release. (I’ll definitely update this on Goodreads on the 17th!)

Vex and Angela had such a unique relationship. The depth of their feelings and emotions was so well written. Seeing them be raw and vulnerable with each other, even without fully understanding why, was so heartwarming.

As always, there’s a lot happening in this book, with just the right amount of drama to keep you on your toes. Getting more of the Arcanist arc after Wrath and Patience was also very satisfying.

Yet nothing compares to Natalya. She’s the heart of everything, and I wouldn’t want it any other way.

Overall, please just go read this entire series. Every book has its own dynamic but I can confidently say they all share the same warmth, and you won’t be disappointed.

Thank you so much to Rawnie Sabor for providing me with an ARC in exchange for an honest review.
