Interesting premise and good art, but spends 11 issues on setup and resolves very little.

Interesting so far - not what i expected. Seem to only want to read/digest 1 issue at a time, but I'm turning to this title several times a day. Lots of intrigue here as to what's going on with the larger story do I'm definitely continuing the series.

Really excited to see where this series goes. This first volume does a fantastic job of setting up the tone - a mix of superhero action and political drama - and the characters (Mitchell Hundred might be most unique protagonist Vaughan has ever written), but a poor job setting up what the core narrative will be over the rest of the volumes. Still, it's wonderfully drawn (the splash panel of the remaining tower of the World Trade Center took my breath away) dialogue is great, and the world is interesting and compelling, so I'll be continuing the series soon.

this was...fine. i liked it, but not enough to continue with the rest of the series. the story was good, but the storytelling was choppy and hard to follow at times. also if i can be so bold as to say...the female characters in this are kinda wack. all of them were mostly unbearable, and even the way they were drawn in comparison to the male characters angered me a bit. women should be more than objects/plot devices!! don’t be shy, give them some purpose. ok those are all my thoughts.

I’m so happy I finally started this series. Brian K. Vaughan is my favorite comic writer and this story does not disappoint on any level!

Seriously loved this. Yeah... it might be a bit politically preachy, but since I'm onboard with pretty much everything it preaches, I'm just going to overlook that... (shhh... I know that makes me kinda hypocritical. But really, aren't we all?)

Okay, politics aside, the art is interesting (has a bit of a rotoscope feel to it, but I like it), the story is really engrossing, and Hundred is flawed without annoying the hell out of me. So far have yet to find a Brian K. Vaughan comic I haven't enjoyed (though I'll admit... I have been avoiding Swamp Thing)

It's good to read finally a graphic novel in which I'm not utterly lost in the plot. Easy to grasp and greatly enjoyable, I loved this. Political drama mixed with super hero drama.
Admit it, it already sounds amazing
