There was a lot of Christian allegory in there. That's my only negative note- That the Christian allegorys were a bit uptight and a bit much.
She apparently dedicated the poem to her sister who saved her from running away with a man who was already married
And so focusing on the sisterly love as a major theme is what made this poem interesting and enjoyable for me. And it was very beautifully written.

“We must not look at goblin men,
We must not buy their fruits:
Who knows upon what soil they fed
Their hungry thirsty roots?”
I really enjoyed Goblin Market, but, unfortunately, I didn't enjoy most of the other poems as much. It's still an enjoyable collection, though.
