Ok I think i found my new favorite of dark romance don’t get me wrong still don’t trust hitchhikers but for this man I don’t know lol maybe but the plot was just there the female main character I really felt bad even though she said I’m a good wife I’m going to cheat but hey you are already dealing with a really messed up husband but come on the chemistry between these guys was just perfect and I think my new nickname is bunny not going to lie lol the spice OMG I clench every few seconds cause wow this is definitely a good read please go read check triggers
Okay I can deal with murder, I can deal with rapists, but like the combo of split personality & telling guys to rape your prey then killing them for having the audacity to touch your girl!!!!!!! Let’s not. Unredeemable and most definitely a trauma bond between sociopaths

This was an exciting spicy read that definitely pushes the boundaries of “dark.” I think if you don’t look too closely at the logistics and just accept everything as it comes, the book delivers. But if you expect a lot of explanation (e.g., Lexington vs. Lex or why they didn’t change their appearances at all while on the run ), you’re probably going to be disappointed. For me, Lauren Biel never disappoints.
Listened to on libby with narration by teddy Hamilton. It was better with the audio teddy Hamilton gave it some comedic moments in the inner monologue. the ending and chapter 24 made me chuckle

I mean… If you’re looking for lots of smut, this book delivers. However, I just couldn’t wrap my head around the timeline. If I’m not mistaken, they’re on the road for less than a week and she suddenly goes from terrified to in love. When they get to the cabin, the next chapter says “we’ve been here a few days” but then makes it seem like they’ve settled in and “built a life” that takes far more than just a few days. It was so unrealistic that was the turning point for me. I finished it, but it really wasn’t great.
