damon is one of the most complex male characters i’ve ever read about. going into this book i was so nervous i was like damon is a terrible person how will he redeem himself. but oh my god seeing his point of view. also when everything came full circle and you find out the truth behind winter and damon’s whole back story with eachother, him building the fountain for her. i do wish we saw bank and damon’s relationship more in this i was kind of confused on why in banks book it was so talked about and how she protected damon because he was her brother but then in damon’s book we saw little interaction like it just didn’t make sense i wish there was a scene where they talked about their trauma and just their feelings, like i loved their sibling dynamic so maybe we will see it in the novellas

Est-ce que le livre mérite 5⭐️ pas sûre mais apparemment être pathétique n’est pas suffisant, il faut que je sois faible aussi .
Initialement, je ne me suis pas attachée à Winter. En avançant dans l’histoire, j’ai reconnu que la force de Winter se trouvait dans sa douceur. Ce détail m’a fait l’aimer.
Mon coup de cœur de ce tome est le duo Erika-Damon.
Voir Damon renouer avec ses amis dans ce tome est ce dont j’avais besoin. J’espère que, dans le tome suivant, ce sera davantage approfondi car j’ai trouvé qu’on est resté assez en surface.

2.75🌟 this lost me... it was far too long and slow paced. i fear i did not read the same book everyone else did. i liked winter and the story but damon to me is still icky
