i was so afraid about what was going to happen with damon because i felt like it could go anywhere, BUUUUT,

This book felt like roller coaster. I first hated it and really couldn’t go into it mainly because of Damon. He is or was the villain in the two previous books. But man this book really changes him. I fell deeply in love with the Damon and truly understood why he did such evil things. I mean this book for sure isn’t for everyone but it’s a great angsty, dark romance that really makes you end cheering for the couple.

this book exceeded all my expectations (and they were already high to begin w!!!)
i’ve been obsessed w damon since day 1…even when i knew i shouldn’t be since he was depicted as a piece of sh*t in book 1 and 2 sigh but i’ve always considered him as my favorite and i knew his book had so much potential for a redemption and explanations regarding his behavior
this book made me feel so much,, i felt so much pain for him his past and the way he just feels so much the way he loves so much the people he cares about…he would literally die for his friends
speaking of friends…his bond with will was so much more than i expected and so much deeper than michael and kai’s…i legit teared up during their moment
i loved damon and rika’s relationship,, i always knew they had potential for an amazing dynamic and glad to know i wasn’t wrong (and pls them being brother and sister??? i’m living for this <333333)
about winter, i really liked her!! her chapters were good and i loved her more than banks tbh (although i loved banks more in this book, i guess i just don’t like her pov)

overall it was insanely good and it’s my favorite book in the series (for now…..because will’s book has a lot of potential…nerdy girl/bad boy….obsessed boy????? sign me up)
