This book was intense, but I cannot explain how much I loved this book. When Damon loves, he loves with everything. Everything about this was perfect. I loved him so much you guys don’t understand ❤️

this book turned out to be better than i thought it was gonna be. i don’t really know what to think of it rn but um… gah i really don’t know what to say. it was okay i guess. i liked it and it was an addictive read. i read corrupt in march and hideaway in july so i don’t really remember much from the previous books. what i do remember was that Damon was an absolute asshole. i don’t know if he fully redeemed himself in my eyes. i certainly do not hate him anymore but i don’t love him as other people do after reading kill switch.

i find Michael the most annoying horseman, Kai the most… nicest? kindest? horseman… ugh idk, Damon the most complex horseman and Will… haven’t read his book yet but i really really want to because i find him the most intriguing and wanna know everything that happened between him and Emory.

the smut was good… obvi. the plot was okay too. i’m giving this book 4 stars because even tho i didn’t really love it, i also didn’t not love it. ya know? i feel like i’m talking as if didn’t like the book but i did. i really did but just felt like something was missing. after i finished it i was like “so that’s it?” i expected more grovelling from Damon but anyways… it was a good book.

Phew, now we are talking. Damon & Winter are amazing. So much history & they have found their way together. Rika growing on me.

Very heavy book. I think I've found my limit for dark romances.

In saying that. The book was written well and it was a good read.

this is my roman empire, absolute favorite one of the only books i think of rereading. Damon the unhinged dark unbothered and absolutely unforgettable mmc .

Like many others before me, the first part of the book… or better yet most of the book just didn’t hit it as much as the other two.

The first two books of the series have been much more enjoyable to navigate through and learn about the characters, so much so that when it came to Damon’s book I was just so excited to start it. Needles to say, the excitement died shortly and did not appear again, of course and with no surprise, until the last 20% of the book.

Still enjoyed the book, just wished the interesting parts would not just be thrown in the last 30 pages.
