THIS WAS AMAZING. for the first time in what seems to be forever, i didn't predict the plot twist, which surprised the crap out of me. i loved natalia, nino and alessio. i loved their growth, their relationships and their love!
dnf bc idk I read 5 chapters and nothing was appealing to me. i was basically forcing myself to read
like i read it a few days ago and i don’t remember anything but… i love kids
baby the twist!
Nat and Alessio! OMG! this book really did it for me! This gave me hope that romance is still alive. Nino is such a handsome little boy!

I just couldn't get into this book and I wasn't intrigued at all by the secret society bit. More just annoyed. Not for me. I skimmed the ending and felt no interest.

“They are only scars. Wear them like a badge of honor. Show the world you are a survivor. There is nothing to be ashamed of.”
Here comes Zavarelli snatching my heart once again. I love her book Ghost and Alexei owns my heart but Alessio comes close.
I didn’t have that many expectations for the book, I picked up because I read it was with a single dad and I’m weak for the trope.
Alessio was a pleasant surprise: ruthless but a marshmallow on the inside, awkward, lost and a bit shy and insecure. Natalia went through so much and you feel for her. While the reasons for her revenge are very predictable, you still have fun reading the book and become eager for their happy ending.
I really liked the mafia aspect in the book. I especially loved how the author didn’t hold back and showed us what Alessio exactly does. The organization itself seems to be very interesting and worthy to be explored.
Now now. A book for Arabella and Angelo, yes pls?

A great book. I loved Alessio. He was stoic, cold and deadly. He was developed wonderfully. Natalia was sweet, smart and tough with secrets of her own. I wished it had been a little more slow burn, but the pacing was still good. The plot was interesting and I loved the interactions with Nino.
