Crimson Tears had me soo into the words I read it in one day. I couldn't put it down.

Following the story of a girl named Lilith who has experienced a brush with death. She doesn't fully know who she is or what she is destined to do. But through her journey of discovery she finds out who she is and is reunited with lost memories. She may even find love along the way.

“I’m not like my brothers, love. I’m fucked up.”
“What if I like fucked up?”
His pupils dilated and his fangs descended as he leaned in closer. “I’d say you’re playing a dangerous game.”
My fangs lengthened. “Let’s play then.”

*Overall: 4/5*
We meet Lilith, an instantly likable FMC, as she meets her guys (this is a reverse harem novel, no surprises there). The story kicks off and jumps right in as she begins her adjustment into the supernatural. A quicker read, we enjoy watching her grow in strength and adjust to her circumstances. And a fun twist right towards the end to make you excited for more.

*Characters: 4/5*
I need a Thaddeus in my life. I could also use a Kai and Blaise. My only complaint is not seeing enough of Aziel but please GOD let there be more of him in the coming novel. This is why we have reverse harem novels. Oh, and Lilith is also a bombshell and I would also have her in the harem. Totally not a problem.

*Steam level: 3.5/5*
There is certainly steam, but more importantly, there is anticipation. The harem is still establishing through the story so expect to see them learning and testing their boundaries together. Slow/medium burn

*Reading time: 3-4 hours*

I received an ARC copy prior to leaving my review

I had a little bit of a hard time getting into this book at the beginning. There was just a lot going on and not enough depth it felt like to draw you in. The 3 vampires also felt a little flat at the beginning. However, once the vampires start training Lilith the dynamic in the story changes and the characters start coming to life. It turned into a great read overall. I liked Lilith from the beginning- she's sassy and just refreshingly honest. Blaise grows on you as the sexy flirt and Kai is just sweet. I really liked Thaddeus from the beginning as well but felt like he took the longest to grow into a fleshed out character. Then there's Jax - oh my! Now him I was drawn to from the get go.

Definitely give this read a shot. Once you get over the 1st couple of chapters it becomes hard to walk away and I can honestly say I'm looking forward to book 2.

The first chapter drew me right into this book. I knew I was going to love the female main character, Lilith. She is sassy and hilarious and she did not change throughout this book. I loved her thoughts and interactions with those around her.

The story is an interesting premise. Girl gets changed by vampires, there’s a big council, a bit of a mystery and something just doesn’t seem quite right. I liked that there was a bit of a mystery throughout the book, you’re trying to figure out what exactly is happening. Some parts I guessed but a few others were a surprise. The mystery and the few hints we were given is enough to keep me interested in continuing the series.

I really think the dialogue made this book though. It was funny and entertaining and I really liked Lilith. The boys were starting to get I’m more interesting, I think they’ll play a bigger part as the trilogy continues. I just liked Lilith a bit more than men.

Crimson Tears is a new reverse harem novel centered around Lilith. She is just a normal girl living a normal small-town life until one night a devastating accident happens. She hits something in the middle of the road, causing her to get tossed through her windshield. On the brink of death, she is rescued by three vampires - Thaddeus, Kai, and Blaise.

I enjoyed the instant camaraderie between her and the guys. I don’t think it’s exactly fast burn, but definitely not slow burn. Lilith feels this connection with them, and adapts well with her new life. Why freak out when you can’t change it?

Lilith works hard to master her powers and skills so she can pass the Order’s tests. Not only so she could see her family again, but for those delicious rewards she was promised. Some things worked out, some things didn’t.

I had a feeling Jax was something more, no cat would act like he did. I’m glad I wasn’t wrong! I also wasn’t completely surprised at the reveal at the end of the book, it’s one of those things that you just know from the beginning, or from the cover/title or book blurb. It doesn’t take away from the book, but it gives you something to expect and build towards.

Overall, I enjoyed this book. I will definitely be picking up the next books to see what happens next!

There's nothing in this book I don't like. #whychoose is my motto, no stupid jealousy and drama between them. Lilith is my kind of girl, all the guys bring something and are not all broody assholes. I'm excited for the next book!

I, as always, have a hard time picturing them in my mind. If anyone want to give me tips on who you think they all look like, I would love to know!

Great first book in new series

I really enjoyed this book. I love the world building and how it was introduced.

Lilith is such a great character and I loved all her guys. They all have such distinct personalities.

I can’t wait to learn more about all of this group. I am really looking forward to reading the next book in the series.
