Strawberry Spring is a haunting short story by Stephen King that blends mystery, psychological suspense, and eerie atmosphere. Set during a rare “strawberry spring” — a foggy, unseasonably warm spell — the story follows a narrator reflecting on a string of murders that occurred during his college years.

The writing is moody and atmospheric, capturing a sense of unease that lingers long after the final page. King masterfully plays with unreliable narration and leaves you questioning what’s real right up until the chilling ending. It’s a quick read, but one that sticks with you.

Perfect for fans of suspense with a slow-building, creepy vibe. This is not my usual genre to read but I really loved the dual timeline and podcast element to this one. Done as an audiobook I enjoyed it.

"She was killed last night and found in a melting snowbank. She was not she was not all there ... I can hear my wife as I write this, in the next room, crying. She thinks I was with another woman last night.
And oh dear God, I think so too."
