I'm am LCSW and have many polyamorous clients, so any chance I get to be poly-affirming through reading and information, I take it. This book was a quick read but full of information. I'm attachment based in my therapeutic approach, so I loved the author's incorporation of the attachment lense within polyamory. I would definitely recommend this book to my clients.

This book ticked exactly what I wanted it to and honestly overachieved in lots of regards. I learned sooo much and realised how little within polyamory I have truly explored, even just from a learning perspective. I found the attachment theory link-in extremely interesting and it's given me lots of thoughts and ideas  to research more about. But most importantly, it's given a lot of really sound and solid advice and pathways to start explore my attachment style and polyamory in tandem. I have much more confidence in stepping into my exploration of my love, excited rather than scared or apprehensive.

I really enjoyed Fern’s conversational, accessible approach to what can be heady subject matter. Attachment theory is complex, but is rendered clear in this important work. I especially appreciated the opportunities for self-reflection and practical suggestions in building secure attachment with others and self. Really beautiful. Will be referencing this a lot in my therapeutic work.
