I always love the light, wonderful story-telling and delightful characters from the author!

A woman feels content and safe in her life with her daughter and husband until a scandal involving her husband disrupts everything. The story follows how she deals with this and also flashes back to her teenage years where she showed a much more vibrant version of herself.

What a perfect book. From start to finish an absolute delight! I have enjoyed all of This author’s books, but this might be my favorite. Zinny/Ginny is right up there with my other favorite MDLS character, Claire, as someone I feel like I know, want to share a cup of coffee with, and will miss now that I’ve finished the book. Highly recommend!

Marisa de los Santos doesn't disappoint with another novel about relationships. This is the story of four high school friends and the night that changed them all forever. And it's the story of a fifteen year old daughter who helps bring them together twenty year later so the truth can finally come to light.

This book was very good, but it didn’t live up to my expectations for a book from Marisa de los Santos. Her books are some of my very favorites, and this one just wasn’t as good. Still amazing - but not AS good. She sets a very high bar for herself ;) one complaint - you don’t find out about what’s in the plot blurb thing until halfway through the book!!! If it goes in the synopsis it should happen/be revealed at least in the first 20%. That bugged me a little!

This one tackled some really tough situations. It made me think about quite a few different things and portrayed a teenager in a more realistic light. Really liked it!

Sorry to say this wasn’t my favorite. The mystery was really drawn out and didn’t hold much interest for me. Foreshadowing was pretty strong so I didn’t feel too surprised by anything. I missed the author’s strong witty voice that seems much more relatable in the rest of the series.
Also, maybe it’s been too long since I read the first two books, but can someone please explain to me how these characters are connected to the series? I kept wracking my brain to try and remember any relationship connections.
