The continued world building that LJ Andrews creates is beyond amazing! Although I've struggled to get through a couple of the books in the Broken Kingdoms series (it's a big series of stories!) They have always drawn me back with engaging and intriguing characters, plots and places where the separate stories take place.

The plot is coming to an endwithin the last book in the Broken Kingdoms series, but after how this story ends I forsee that being a major culmination of all the realms coming together for an amazing battle.

The tension in this second to last book is high and everything hangs in the balance and ends on another cliffhanger!

A twisted tale reminicent of The Swan Princess, potentially the most dark and gritty series of books in the Broken Kingdoms.

Another great book in this series. I love how it build to the complexity of the story. Ari in the beginning of the series kind of irritated me, but as the story grew I began to like him. This book locked that in place.

Wow this book is definitely fine with a couple turns I honestly didnโ€™t see coming, and the fact we get a couple nods for the newest book is very clever
If I could give more stars I would

DID NOT FINISH

Just not my cup of tea.

This was so good for the second to last book in The Broken Kingdom series. The way we are able to see Saga and Ariโ€™s story unfold in different ways is done well, while Saga fights to find a a way to cure Ari and wake him all while learning to be a queen and navigate everything that entails, with betrayals and secrets of past history becoming known. We follow Ari who is being guided to learn everything that came to pass in the forgotten history of the kingdoms.

Just when you think you know which way certain things are going, you learn so many new developments that are so well timed and executed. This doesnโ€™t effect the pace of the book or the plot it just keeps you so well engaged, i am always amazed at the world building that LJ Andrew has created it is always so beautiful and descriptive and filled with fierce and loyal characters that we have grown to love.

I canโ€™t wait to delve into the last book and to see how the story wraps up. Highly recommend!
