The moderate star rating is mostly (entirely?) down to personal taste. Characters, plot, writing, all good, maybe a little light on detail, but it’s a relatively short book so that’s expected. Just… not my favourite, that’s all.

I truly finished this out of pure spite and hate read the whole thing but nothing prepared me for the pure anger at the 75% mark with a surprise pregnancy

Characters seemed like they would be awful for each other. Nash was such a dick. West seemed like a spoiled brat, and not in a good way. Didn't even need to meet the other characters to know this book was not for me.
