I’m not normally someone who’s interested in the technicalities of writing but this book had completely changed my mind on that. The imagery was so compelling it made me feel like I was right there in the marsh with Kya. The author did an excellent job of making you understand the characters.
I’ll be honest I thought the ending was going to be very different and it felt a bit rushed but can understand why the author made the decision on how to end it.
I think this is a bit of a marmite book, you’ll either love it or hate it, but I would still highly recommend reading it yourself to find out!

Wasn’t expecting to like this but ended up really enjoying it! Perfect page turner for vacation.

The style of writing is slower and I thought I would hate it. But somehow it sucked me in, and I was crying by the end. Beautiful.

I DID NOT LIKE THE ENDING. THE ENDING WAS VERY BOOO. The rest of it was good

this didn’t really do it for me. it feels very overhyped. the end was honestly predictable due to the way information was slowly released throughout the book. what’s really going for it is the dual timelines that eventually converge-i really do like when books do that
