A solid arc, but I’m glad they didn’t drag this story out too long. I’m not a big fan of the Kimura stuff, and the Shield stuff is played out. The art is a mixed bag, but the coloring helped keep things consistent

Just an absolutely fantastic arc that wraps up Laura’s story with Kimura and puts X-23 to bed. I do think the reveal that Laura didn’t kill anyone in that town in California is a bit of a cop out, though.

Firstly, I would like to punch kimura. She is a nasty, sadist who deserves to be in a prison in the ground.

Secondly, Gabby calling Remy and Warren and Remy saving Laura and Jean training Laura omg. I am so overwhelmed, issue 17 has been one of my favourites so far in this line of all-new wolverine.

"and i love you." - how can you not love gabby.

"you're not x-23. you're more than a letter and a number. you have a name. you're laura kinney. you're not a puppet. you weren't built. you were born. you're human. you're a hero. you're wolverine."

If you don't love Tom Taylor's take on Laura Linney, you're reading it wrong.

The art is a little inconsistent. And seeing X-23 in the Wolverine costume is still a bit jarring. But this book gets her pretty right. And extends her story into a direction that might actually be new and different. It would seem this book would be a little bit hard to follow and appreciate if dropped in the middle. But following right along, her sisters add to the story. Violent, but not overly violent.

The story isn’t as engaging as the previous two installments, and the art is a major step down. It’s still okay, but the tonal shift to darker stuff, like the murder of an entire town, is a bit much. Previously we were rescuing squirrels, and I was expecting more of that.

Tom Taylors All-New Wolverine is some of the best comic writing I've read in a long time.

this is all so precious and I'm so happy for Laura's personal growth?? and also for Gabby and Jonathan and the pelican statue.
