Apparently I never put in a review- at the heart of this short story collection are the complexities of relationshipsÑbetween friends, parents and children, loversÑset within a distinctly Korean landscape. The writing is terse yet emotive. I imagine some phrasings did not translate completely naturally, but overall a very strong and emotionally poignant collection.
