I always speak too soon when I say I'm going to enjoy a book. The first chapter opened up strong, and then it proceeded to drop off a cliff and fall flat immediately in chapter two. This book definitely would have benefited from being even 100 pages longer. And the guy definitely gave off creepy stalker vibes so there is that. I may have to try the other Bossy Christmas book as I've heard that one is infinitely better.
This was really sort of stretching Christmas shenanigans for all it’s worth, because things did get a bit cringe. The plot itself is completely ridiculous. A woman’s family invite her ex boyfriend to their Christmas parties? And she ends up fake dating with her boss, who treats her like shit because he likes her. So a bit silly, but I honestly still had fun. Sex scenes were a bit cringe, but I felt a loooot of chemistry between them. So worth the read in the end if you don’t take it seriously (at all) and just enjoy it for the Christmas vibes.

I enjoyed this one! It was cute and the characters were likeable. I really enjoyed how they faced their problems and worked on getting better for the other. I especially liked that they supported each other in their progress of bettering themselves. It was a really enjoyable (and steamy) holiday novella.
It was a Moreish christmas read.... Damon could have been a little more likeable 3.5
