They’re right, this book is simply about good things happening to good, deserving people. Everything in this is so well-written and healthy - the friendships are great, and Bo & Win’s relationship is so beautiful while also feeling so realistic.

And listen, the yearning? THE YEARNING? Next level.

I know everyone hates this trope but I simply ~don’t~. Win and Bo are everything, and you are missing out on good books if you won’t read something just because you rule it out based on the tropes. I said what I said.

There was nothing crazy happening, the stakes weren’t very high, but I was still glued to the book. The depth of the story and the development of the characters, to the point where you genuinely care what happens, sets it apart from a lot of other romances.

And Bo? This book deserves a whole sixth star for him alone.

Overall a very good time!

I really enjoyed this. Winnie and Bo just hooked me in. I loved their banter, interactions and dynamics. The side characters were well thought out and added value to the story.

“Isn’t That all we ever want? To be seen and heard? Validated, even when we’re not able to ask for it.”

This book was like a warm hug. I just loved so much how their love story evolved. Bo is just an icon green flag that I gobbled up. How he cared for Win, I mean swoon. I also loved that we got a glimpse of their life 10 years later.

I can’t wait to read the next book in the series and I’m excited to check out other books by Hannah. This was my first book I read by her and I devoured it!

I started out really enjoying this, the main characters have a loveable chemistry, and the disability representation was refreshing. But as it went on, I found the male love interest sickeningly sweet, but worse than that I found the disability rep all but stopped existing after the first few pages.

I was particularly annoyed by a sex scene that would be ambitious for people with 8 fully able limbs - sex against a wall. There were no references to how an amputee with a prosthetic leg was balancing, or how someone only able to grip with one of her hands was holding herself up -- the worst part was when he managed to keep her pinned to wall and take his boxers off at the same time...??

I was also extremely frustrated that she kept saying he had "gone without his leg" around the house, but there were 0 mentions of crutches or wheelchairs, or any kind of mobility aid beyond the prosthetic leaning discretely against the wall. Is this man hopping to bring her coffee??

Found myself fast forwarding through sex scenes when I realised how generic they were. Was annoyed we didn't get to meet the baby after spending the whole bloody book anticipating them! Not really my thing.

Even though I knew this book was going to be good, I was convinced I wasn’t going to like it (not a fan of the pregnancy trope) But, I was happily proven wrong. This story was so sweet, their love story was adorable, and I loved their respective character arcs. This was also so funny and the characters were super loveable. It was such a great time

I adored this book. I can feel all the love and intention the author poured into writing this story; it’s truly lovely. Heartwarming, heartbreaking, and beautiful. Would recommend and reread.
