This is probably the most dense graphic novel I've read, which i think works in its favour. I personally quite enjoyed the movie, depsite all its flaws, and was eager to learn more about the characters and politics of the story that it missed out. I enjoyed the way the art style lent itself to the tone and themes of the book, even if some characters were occasionally a little hard to distinguish from one another. I think there are definitely points at which the movie was clearer or more cohesive than the book, however I much preferred the depth provided in the book, that the movie missed. Overall, I deeply enjoyed reading V for Vendetta, and I think its relevance to contemporary western society makes it all the more impactful.

I loved every single minute of V for Vendetta. I’ve admittedly never seen the movie but had a gist of the plot. I enjoyed the graphic novel format even if it typically isn’t my thing. It lends to the themes of the story .
