chefs kiss… love you Cassian… love you Nesta. But Rhys is still my book boyfriend :)

I did not love this book. The story was ok, but I struggled with not DNFing. I don't like the switch from 1st person (books 1-4) to 3rd person. I also do not love Nesta as a character so that made it a tough read as well. The sexual activity was much higher in this book compared to the others which I don't have a problem with, but it started to feel excessive/unnecessary. On re-reads/audio listens I just skip past big chunks of it. I pretty much only skim through this now for the Feyre/Rhysand sub-plot and highlights of the main plot to be prepped for the next book in the series. I would say you do need to read it for the overall story lines, but it’s not high on my recommendation list.

This one took a bit for me to get through - but it could have been partly due to life as well. I wasn't excited to start this one bc I despised Nesta. But by end, it was a complete 180 for more. I loved her overall growth throughout and her relationship with Cassian was beautiful. Can't wait for the next one!

4.5 Slow burn, and Nestas character development was very well done. She’s still not my fav but im interested to see how she develops as the series continues. Mist and fury is still my top book

This one was better than the last two, a fresh perspective was great. Unfortunately, it was incredibly long, and not much happened.
