This one took a bit for me to get through - but it could have been partly due to life as well. I wasn't excited to start this one bc I despised Nesta. But by end, it was a complete 180 for more. I loved her overall growth throughout and her relationship with Cassian was beautiful. Can't wait for the next one!

4.5 Slow burn, and Nestas character development was very well done. She’s still not my fav but im interested to see how she develops as the series continues. Mist and fury is still my top book
This one was better than the last two, a fresh perspective was great. Unfortunately, it was incredibly long, and not much happened.

Wow wow wow. Like most people, I was unsure how I was going to find ACOSF with it being from Nesta POV but boyyyy was I wrong. I have never loved a character development more than I did with Nesta.
How we got from the Nesta at the start of the book, to the end was done so well. Her change was so gradual and you could just see her battling with herself constantly. Don’t get me wrong, at points I found her behaviour frustrating, the constant pushing away of everyone including Cassian. But I think in the end that made me enjoy her character development even more.
I LOVED her relationship with Gwyn and Emerie, how they each found comfort in each other and absolutely kicked arse. The Blood Rite was absolutely insane, I found by heart racing and cheering for them to win. I want more of the Valkyries
