MISS JULIA SEALES! We need to have a word on how incredibly fun this book was! I was absolutely entertained from start to finish. As playful as I am, it's pretty difficult for a book to get me to laugh out loud, but this book tickled me in just the right way.

Not only was this book comedic gold, but the mystery and twists included? Perfectly foreshadowed and so juicy! I was SCALPED and GAGGED about 70% but somehow Julia Seales ratcheted that up even further in the whirlwind that was the last 30%.

The world building of Swampshire was excellent as well. Seales really knows how to make Swampshire unique, fun, and immersive. I loved the little media tidbits included like plays, letters, and such that helped bring Swampshire and its inhabitants to life.

I love the characters (everyone was unique and just so vivid!), I enjoyed the mystery, I loved the world of Swampshire and its trecherous squelch holes. To top it off, there was even a sweet message tucked in there about conformity that was delivered with the right hand to avoid being preachy or breaking the humourous atmosphere.

Miss Julia Seales, I cannot wait to read more of your books!!!
